Red Sonja
|
Red Sonja is a warrior woman hailing from Hyrkania. Her backstory is mired in contradictions and changes over time, but the core of it is a woman who has experienced deep loss and has put herself through a mission to gain strength over others to protect those she loves and herself. Her strength comes from both inside herself and the mystical blessings of goddesses. Coming through the Collider, Red Sonja begins her quest to get back home.
Red Sonja is a jack of all trades in some respects, although her main mechanic focuses around gaining strength through Bleeding her opponents. Her specials play on this, powering her up with pacts for the amount of blood coated on her, changing her attacks to inflict Doom to stack more damage for a short time, or creating a condition to quickly end the match through a deathmatch. Red Sonja's moveset is mostly centered around her Bloodlust mechanic as a result, giving her options to get a bleeding edge over her opponent.

Gimmick: Bloodlust
Red Sonja's gimmick is Bloodlust. This allows her to deal more damage when she takes damage, esclating by 0.1x every 10 damage she takes. As a result though, her knockback resistance becomes substantially weaker.
Additionally when she inflicts Bleed, the blood will coat Red Sonja's body. Every hit she does that inflicts Bleed will add 5% to her "Blood Levels", which is shown next to her health on the hud. Blood Levels can be used for Price of Blood pacts, which can power Red Sonja without her needing to take damage, increasing her power substantially, although her knockback resistance is lowered, making her easier to kill.

Moveset
Savage Sword
|
Red Sonja strikes forward with a blade, forming a red aftertrail, dealing 7 damage across the blade and 12 damage if sweetspotted on the tip. Attack again to stab downwards, spiking opponents and dealing 6 damage across the blade and 11 damage if sweetspotted. In the air, Red Sonja stabs downwards with the blade, 8 damage across the blade and dealing 13 damage if sweetspotted on the tip. All attacks with the sword inflict Bleed.

Hell-Tipped Arrow
|
Red Sonja aims a bow with a brimstone tipped arrow. The player is able to aim it using the control stick and can use the special attack button to shoot it- alternatively, tap to shoot a quick arrow in Red Sonja's immediate horizontal direction. The arrow flies very far, losing minimal height during it's arc. The arrow deals 8 damage- the tip of the arrow deals 15 damage. This move inflicts Burn and up to three arrows can be active at a time.

Battle Axe
|
Red Sonja lifts up a giant battle axe, dealing 7 damage as she strikes it up, before slamming it down for 14 damage with a large hitbox, inflicting Bleed, Buried if sweetspotted. In the air, this spikes with a spin effect to the opponent, dealing doubled knockback.

She-Devil
|
Red Sonja grips onto a opponent and carries them onto their shoulders. Red Sonja can then input the upwards command to punt them upwards, dealing 5 damage with a headbutt, or any other input to throw them for 7 damage. Press the command again after the opponent hits the ground in a downed state to then stab them multiple times, dealing 5 damage with each strike of the knife, dealing Bleed.

Red Sonja is powered by how much blood she has on her from the Bleed effect, powering her by the level of blood coated on her body. Each 10% of blood increases Red Sonja's power for free without getting hit. Additionally, she is healed for 15 hit points.

Ballad of the Red Goddess Level 2
|
Red Sonja activates a state where she glows red. The next attack to inflict Bleed will instead deal 30 damage as a spike appears under the ground and skewers the opponent. Morrigan, the goddess of death and doom in the Red Sonja universe, will then appear and bestow her power on Red Sonja's weapons, honored by her blood sacrifice. Red Sonja's weapons will now instead inflict the Doom effect on hit as opposed to Bleed or Burn for 30 seconds, dealing 15 damage when Doom drops. Doom can be stacked three times to deal 50 damage.
Ignores Red Sonja's Bloodlust effects.

Blessing of Scathath Level 3
|
Red Sonja summons the goddess Scathath, who casts a counter over both Red Sonja and her opponents. Each time one of the players takes a hit, the counter goes down by a point. Knockback is negated significantly across the board, although Red Sonja's Bloodlust will remain active, allowing her additional strength and reduced grab power from her opponents as she takes damage or if she has a Price of Blood pact active.
Red Sonja and her opponents' counters start at 25, requiring 25 hits to fully deplete. When a meter is depleted, death will occur, instantly killing the opponent. Red Sonja needs to be the last person standing in order to recieve Scathath's additional blessing, will heal her 1 hit point every second for the rest of the match.
