BB-9E

BB-9E is a astromech droid programmed to work for the sinister First Order, acting as an evil lil doppelganger of BB-8. Debuting in Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi, BB-9E played a minor role in catching three human sabuteours by the name of Finn, Rose, and DJ. After being caught across the Collider's grasp, BB-9E now finds themselves in Black Hole, with BB-8 continuing the fight against the First Order, of which BB-9E and Captain Phasma are dedicated to squishing out.

BB-9E is a clone of BB-8 that has some different properties to their shock prod that focuses on stunning opponents and keeping opponents close to them as opposed to having any sort of knockback, especially with one of their two unique special moves, Smoke Screen, which obscures BB-9E and cancels knockback to opponents caught in the smoke field. Shock Spin increases BB-9E's aerial mobility although it lacks BB-8's edgeguarding properties of their Cable Spin.

Gimmick: Gyr# Centered

BB-9E is centered around a ball and head build that spins underneath them. While BB-9E is a all terrain droid, some terrain is easier to roll on than others and thus changes BB-9E's speed and power of his Rolling Charge move. Additionally, his ball body and head have different hurtboxes- attacks that hit the ball body deal 0.75x as much damage while attacks done directly to the head deal 1.25x as much damage as normal. While moving, the player can tilt BB-9E's head forward to deal more damage with attacks or tilt it back to act more defensively by pressing the guard buttons while moving, as this won't put BB-9E into the guard state like other characters.

Moveset
Shock Prod
BB-9E extends out a shocking prod to deal 3-4 electrical damage to opponents, inflicting heavy stun. Holding down will extend out the shocking prod for longer, capable of still zapping opponents that get into contact with it. It can also be used to safely light bombs off early as well as light oil puddles on fire. BB-9E can only move 1-2 character lengths while the Shock Prod is active. Rolling Charge
BB-9E stays stationary as the ball begins to roll underneath him before suddenly pushing his head unit towards the front and charging forward to deal damage based off momenteum (3-12 damage). Press the special attack button to do a headbutt attack that inflicts additional damage, up to 6 damage more.
Shock Spin
BB-9E spins around in the air, jumping with an electrical pulse around them, dealing 7-10 damage with heavy stun as they deal damage with the electrical field around them. Comes out quick and increases air mobility while being a safe option to use, although stales quickly. Smoke Screen
BB-9E deploys a dense smoke screen that covers up to 6 character lengths, obscuring BB-9E from opponents while highlighting them in the smoke field. The smoke field stays active for 6 seconds and anything inside the smoke screen will stay within it, cancelling knockback. Has a cooldown period of 4 seconds.
Finishers
Grappling Line
Level 1
BB-9E launches a grappling line that extends to the edge of the screen and then zips forward, dealing 15 damage with heavy knockback as they launch themselves forward before bouncing back onto the stage. This move can be used as a movement tool or to launch multiple opponents at once. Even if it whiffs it still goes off.
Head Transplant
Level 2
BB-9E transplants his head onto a larger metal ball, about eight character lengths tall. This increases the power of Rolling Charge by 3x, although doesn't change BB-9E's movement speed and terrain crawling mechanics. On contact while dashing, BB-9E deals 10 damage on hit, with large knockback in the direction that BB-9E is rolling in. Lasts for 7 seconds.
First Order Report
Level 3
BB-9E calls in a squadron of First Order Stormtroopers to dispatch on their opponents, with a total of five attacking opponents. Each Stormtrooper has 35 health and can deal 14 damage with a firing attack. BB-9E can improve their aim by getting close to opponents they want to be shot. Stormtroopers are active for 13 seconds or when they're all destroyed by attacks from opponents.

Testimony
Saul Goodman gives a testimony for his client.
Your honor, my client was programmed by the First Order to carry out those duties that lead into war crimes, and they're a robot, so they can't be legally held accountable for anything unless we wanna pass a lot of laws in the next couple minutes. Throw this case out, it's a waste of time.
