Dodo

The Dodo is the last of a rare creature who hails from Wackyland, being a original Looney Tunes character from the cartoons Porky in Wackyland and it's colored remake Dough for the Dodo (warning: these are pretty casually racist!) and inspired the creation of the Tiny Toons character named Gogo Dodo. The Dodo finds themselves in Black Hole, attracted by it's chaotic nature and not because of a Collider Beam shooting across the multiverse.

The Dodo is a character that explictly doesn't really make any sense and this really comes across in their kit. A lot of their tools are used to get away from opponents or seem like escape options and act like such but do deal damage. They have a unique element to their attacks known as Vorpal, which pierces through guards and deals ambient damage and unguarding opponents take huge knockback, but airborne opponents are almost entirely immune to their attacks.

Gimmick: Vorpal

Many of Dodo's attacks utilize a unique element called Vorpal, an abstract element that has pure cutting ability, able to deal ambient damage through guards and piercing knockback damage against unguarded opponents, which will knock down opponents when they land. To actually guard against Vorpal, you have to be airborne, in which you will be immune to vorpal damage. This strange damage effect requires opponents to completely change their tactics against the Dodo- they will actually be safer in the air than the ground, which is almost never the case in fighting games in general.
Moveset
Dodo Dance
The Dodo performs a dance that then has them dancing atop the opponent, dealing 4-11 vorpal damage with their feet as they dance atop the opponent. They then can dash off by the player tilting the control stick in the desired direction, which can include up, down, left, and right, and all diagonal directions in between, ignoring collison for 3 seconds. If there is no opponent nearby, they perform a small dance animation before doing a brisk dash that does not follow the rules of collison for 3 seconds. Hokus Pokus- Presto!
The Dodo recants a magic spell that gives them a blue pencil, of which they draw a door. They then pull the door from underneath and go under it, while the door remains locked and keeps opponents outside, creating an invisible barrier about 8 character lengths high. The Dodo will appear out of a window they drew from above, allowing them to escape high above and chain into Umbrella Crest or any of their other moves. When a opponent runs into the door, they slam into it and get knocked down, taking 6 damage.
Umbrella Crest
The Dodo enlargens the umbrella on the top of their head, allowing them to glide while dealing 8-10 vorpal damage. Rapidly pressing the attack button will cause the Dodo to ascend upwards in the air with windboxes in opposing directions for opponents only, while guarding will cancel the gliding animation. Warner Shield
The Dodo hides behind a shield that resembles the Warner Brothers logo, which can deflect attacks and bounces opponents off and knocks them into a Astral state on impact, dealing 6 damage. Pressing the attack button will allow the Dodo to fire a slingshot at a downward angle that deals 8 vorpal damage.
Finishers
Goiiiiing UP!
Level 1
The Dodo jumps into an elevator, which gives them full invincibility behind a one dimensional door. The player can then tilt the controller to move the elevator in any of 12 directions, which will deal 15 damage to any opponents that it makes contact with as well as inexplicably Flattening them out. The elevator will stop in the air before letting the Dodo off, allowing him to chain it into any of his other attacks.
Brick Drop
Level 2
The Dodo rises up into the air and drops a brick, which parachutes and homes onto a opponent before quickly falling and dealing 30 damage unless parried precisely. The brick when it slams into a opponent will Bury them as well. The brick can also be used as a platform exclusively to the Dodo while it is in the air.
Change of Scenery
Level 3
The Dodo pulls up the background of the stage like it's a curtain and proceeds to change the background into a Salvador Dali-esque painting, as various denizens from Wackyland appear, such as a three headed man who is constantly fighting himself who deals 11 damage near opponents and causes Dizziness, a rising totem of people that raise the sun, inflicting Solar on hit as well as 20 damage, and a swinging rabbit whos ears are stuck on the pole the swingset is attached to, who swings rapidly back and forth, dealing terrific knockback and 18 damage on hit. These strange opponents cannot be damaged and they are active for 10 seconds and will tend to have a gravitating effect towards opponents who approach them. After 10 seconds, the background drops back down like a curtain and returns the stage to normal.

They are in fact, far from the last of the Dodos.

Testimony
Saul Goodman gives a testimony for his client.
Your honor, my client is alleging that his capture was not done under optimal conditions- Porky should have used the brick skip and boat skip to capture them optimally. They demand their capture be done under a world record time if the defendant wants their 6 trillion dollars.
Torture
When Dodo is caught by Posion, Poison accidentally slams into a brick wall, although the bricks then fall onto the Dodo, dealing 45 damage.
R-Action
When Ralsei encounters Dodo, he handcuffs himself to the dodo to capture it, briefly linking him to the Dodo's hitbox for 4 seconds, adding 3 levels of Drowsiness.
