Herbert Powell

Herbert Powell is a former mogol of the automotive industry and the inventor of the baby-talk translator- although he's down on his luck once again, losing his fortune through his own hand this time. Slumming it up, Herbert Powell is on the prowl for a new idea that will give him a fortune. While on the hunt, the Collider's beam pulled him through the Black Hole, sending Herb into the chaotic world of Black Hole. Looking for partners and ideas for a new invention, Herb travels across the multiversal wasteland.

Herbert Powell is a clone of Homer with many differences- he throws peanuts instead of donuts, has slight differences to his version of Homer's smackdown attacks, and throws a steel rod instead of a uranium rod. His Baby Translator move acts as a bomb and a information gatherer, telling him the stats of any move near it. Additionally, using a massage chair he can inflict random effects and heal himself as well as run characters over in the blunder car known as The Homer.

Moveset
Rackin' Peanuts
Herbert throws a flurry of peanuts forward which spreads out over distance, dealing 8-3 damage depending on how many peanuts hit the opponent. It has a short range but causes a stun/flinch effect that is effective for combo set ups. Other interesting things about this projectile attack is that it has high priority and can cancel a lot of attacks from opponents but can be completely negated by most blocking moves. Reflections will not work on it but absorbing actions will heal double from it. Shmoe Smackdown
Herb swings his arms around while moving forward, with heavy superarmor during the first two swings, with a third swing that reverses the opponent and acts as a reflector. While in the air, Herb charges forward like an air dash while swinging his arms, making this effective for recovery, even if the vertical height gained is actually fairly minimal. It deals 3 damage on start and 4 damage on loop until the opponent exits from the animation or Herb swings three times.
$40 Dollar Steel
Herb pulls out a steel rod which he can fling in any direction via the control stick. After throwing it, Herb leaps a bit, which can give him a small bit of vertical recovery. The steel rod is able to deal 5 damage on hit and can bounce multiple times on a single opponent. It deals heavy stun, and can inflict the Break effect on impact, weakening opponents. Herb can launch it again by attacking the rod when it gets stuck in the ground. Baby Translator
Herb sets down a baby translator, which listens for attack audio. When it senses attack audio, it tells Herb about how much damage it'll do, what the name of the attack is, and any other effects- as well as how to block it in a quick snappy manner. ("Rackin' Peanuts. 8-3 damage. Flinch or Stun. Center Guard.") This is pretty useful for training- additionally, Herb can explode it by pressing the input again, creating an electrical explostion that deals Shock and 8 damage.
Finishers
Spinemelter 2000
Level 1
Herb sits down in the Spinemelter 2000 massaging chair, creating a field of bizarre cosmological phenomena and strange landscapes of unusual colours as he feels the massage have an effect on him. This field is projected as a cone, active for 5 seconds as Herb sits down in the Spinermelter 2000, which inflicts a random status effect (Makai Spell, Heaven Spell, Midnight Bliss, or Incubus Delight) onto opponents while dealing 3 astral damage in a ambient manner every 30 frames that a opponent is inside- additionally, the opponent is slowed inside of the field. As Herb sits in the Spinemelter 2000, he also recovers up to 15 health. The whole ordeal lasts 6 seconds.
Shmoe Slammer
Level 2
Herb balls up both hands into fists then yells before running forward, dealing a powerful flurry of hits that deals 30 damage. At the end of the attack, Herb finishes with a tossed empty beer can, which can inflict Dizzy. This is a more powerful version of Homer's Level 1 Finisher, Bash Dash Masher with a projectile attack instead of a throw.
The Homer
Level 3
Herb rides the car that his brother Homer Simpson designed, known only as The Homer in a cutscene Finisher, running over opponents caught by the activation hitbox for 45 damage, knocking them away far after the cutscene ends. Additionally, The Homer appears after the cutscene as a interactable destructive object, which Herb and opponents can destroy and take parts of, throwing them to deal 5-15 damage. If the car is completely destroyed afterwards, Homer will appear and cry out "My Car!" unless he's in the match, in which the opponent's Homer will say it instead.
