Kang and Kodos

Kang and Kodos are two space aliens that appear in many non-canonical Simpsons episodes and moments, appearing in just about every single Treehouse of Horror episode. They have a wide array of weaponry at hand and their alien technology is good for messing with the lives of Earth (specifically Springfield) residents. Joining with a higher power, they are cursed with the knowledge of all of their past appearances and specifically target Homer, who they see as a foiler to their diabolical plots.

Kang and Kodos are an odd pair up character that are notriously kind of difficult to fight due to their unique double attack system. While Kodos often trails behind Kang, who is considered the main fighter, Kodos can attack while Kang executes a move during the attack animation. While lacking decent recovery and good melee options, their projectile game is pretty strong. They are also pretty heavy and can shield against many attacks with Space Helmet, albeit this comes with a heavy weakness if it's cracked.

Moveset
Space Helmet
Kang and Kodos put on their space helmets as an advanced guard that blocks all three kinds of attacks, but causes them to remain completely still. Hold the button and then tap in the desired direction to have Kodos stay with her space helmet on while Kang can move around a bit more freely, allowing Kang to use Kodos as a shield against attacks.
If Kang separates too far from Kodos or jumps, the move will end early. Space helmets can only sustain 35 damage at a time and slowly heal when not in use. They show their "health" through cracks on the helmets, with more cracks meaning more damage has been sustained and needs to be used with caution. Breaking Kang or Kodos' space helmet will cause the alien to undergo the out of body effect for 5 seconds and make them useless.
Element Beam
Kang pulls out a laser gun that shoots one of three attacks, depending on what state the player is in before firing:
  • Kang will fire lightning when in the air, dealing 13 damage and shocking foes. Has the most distance and length but laggy and not safe on start up.
  • Kang will fire flame blasts from his gun when on the ground normally. These travel and act like projectiles and deal 8 damage and the burn effect.
  • Kang will fire an icy blast from his gun when crouching, freezing foes and dealing 7 damage.
While executing the attack, Kodos can also fire if the player taps the button again during Kang's active frames. They deal 0.8x less damage.
UFO Tractor
Kang and Kodos summon their ship to lift them with it's attracting light. Hold to keep it active for up to 3 seconds before it takes off. It will pull up anything in it's range, including projectiles and opponents. Doesn't deal damage. Appears at the top of the stage but has a surprisingly big area of effect that grows stronger the closer you are to the top of the screen. Deathly Chortle
Kang laughs and spits out a skeleton that deals 7 damage and acts like a projectile, inflicting the nightmare status effect. During Kang's animation, if the player performs this input again, Kodos can also laugh and spit out a alien resembling Roger from American Dad, who deals 9 damage.
Finishers
Rigel 7 Tentacles
Level 1
Kang implants his tentacles into the ground, forming spikes from the ground that strike opponents upwards into the air for 15 damage. Kodos can take inputs from the player while Kang performs this animation.
Shmoe Slammer
Level 2
Kang fires his gun, transforming the opponent into their Midnight Bliss animation and then proceeding to drain them, sapping up to 30 health from them. If Kang is not active due to a status effect, Kodos will fire a gun to transform the opponent into their Incubus Delight forms and drain them for 30 health.
Day of the Dolphin
Level 3
Kang and Kodos summon a pack of hyper-intelligent dolphins as the stage floods with water, with the dolphins delivering powerful slaps to opponents that deal 11 damage and are extremely blood-thirsty, following opponents closely. They last for 6 seconds and Kang and Kodos are briefly off the field, laughing in their spaceship before it is suddenly struck down and forces them to re-enter the fight as the water and dolphins disappear.

Testimony
Saul Goodman gives a testimony for his client.
Your honor, my clients have been accused of impersonating Bob Dole and Bill Clinton. Is any politician not lying about who they truly are? Are we really to believe the testimony of a rummed up obese man? Who's to say their human identities were stolen, and that these two politicians weren't always like this? Drop the case, unless we can have a different eye witness report.
Torture
When Kang and Kodos are caught by Posion, Poison uses a toaster to time travel with the two and leaves them in the prehistoric past, where they get eaten by a T-Rex, dealing 45 damage. Additionally, when Poison gets back to the present, it will rain donuts intermittedly for the rest of the match, which can be eaten to heal.
