Kid Goku

Kid Goku is the young version of Goku prior to growing up and dealing with his saiyan heritage. This Goku only really knows a couple of ki moves, but he's absolutely still a great fighter and enjoys both finding a good challenge to his strength and eating a lot. He has a very naive world view from growing up without a parental figure beyond Roshi.

Goku has a lot of different options with his melee attacks, one of which has insane range but also drawbacks. His recovery is also fairly good and he has a good way to escape attacks with his teleport move. Goku doesn't have much launching power and his aggressive playstyle doesn't have any way to play defensive or countering many opponent's moves.

Moveset
Rock, Scissors 'N' Paper
Goku's original signature attack before being taught the Kamehameha. Goku does one of three moves, which is influenced by the tilt you put the control stick or randomized.
  • A jabbing assault to the eyes- requires a more precise range as Goku's fingers contain the sweetspot that will deal 7-8 damage. Tilt the control stick slightly up to perform this.
  • A punch that deals 6-7 damage that flinches opponents but won't knock them away. Has the chance to make opponents go Out of Body when they're at high health. Tilt the control stick straight forward to perform this.
  • Goku performs a palm thrust that knocks opponents back like a windbox, dealing 4-6 damage but has the best range. Tilt the control stick down to perform this.
Power Pole
The Power Pole is a magical, size-changing staff that Goku can utilize as a weapon in a variety of ways. By holding down on the button, Goku will continue to extend the power pole's size, which can expand past the entire length of an average stage. However, this will make the pole less sturdy and rock against attacks, which will damage Goku minor. Tap the button after holding it to slam down the full length of the pole, which will then retract afterwards. This deals 8-11 damage. If you tap the button at the beginning of the move instead, Goku will thrust it forward to do a mean knockback attack with it, dealing 7 damage.

If you use it in the air, Goku will instead thrust it to the ground by extending it, able to extend out to the boundary boxes. Hitting the pole will be able to knock it over, which Goku will be helpless against as the pole retracts and he takes minor damage. The air version of this deals 9 damage.
Flying Nimbus
Goku rides atop the Flying Nimbus, a speedy platform that allows him to move through the air effortlessly. Deals no damage but acts as a soft platform, allowing Goku to phase through it and follow up with another attack if he wishes. A small, useless quirk of this move is that only those with a pure heart are able to ride it. As such, Kid Goku, Glover, Blowout Kirby, Captain America, Flicky, and non-Dark Chao are able to ride it. Untrackable Speed
Goku is able to move very fast and almost appear as if he is teleporting around rapidly. When Goku uses this move, he can appear in the direction the player holds the control stick in and then appear three or four character lengths away immediately. Has a start up animation but no endlag whatsoever. Only deals damage if Goku appears on his opponent, dealing 10 damage and knocking them away.
Finishers
Kamehameha
Level 1
Goku fires off a blue energy beam that has a long range, dealing 15 damage. Destroys shields and deals damage on contact. It also traps opponent on contact. The beam is horizontal and somewhat thin and unrefined.
Penetrate!
Level 2
Goku points to his opponent and a shine appears on it if it is successful. A cutscene plays where Goku charges at the opponent with a white-ish blue ki hand and then proceeds to go through the opponent with a transparent great ape appearing behind Goku as he goes through his opponent, dealing 30 damage and high launching knockback. Has a short activation range.
Great Ape
Level 3
The moon shines in the sky and Goku transforms into a powerful and destructive Great Ape form, dealing up to 50 damage as he rampages across the stage, stomping and kicking as he moves across the stage. This move ends as the moon is blown up by a laser, reverting Goku back to normal.
