The Weapon

The Weapon was created as a clone of Cortana, made to take out the original after she created her own faction known as The Created full of rogue AIs that wanted to create galactic peace across the galaxy, although against the goals of the UNSC. While trying to take her down, Cortana willingly destroyed herself and deactivated her deletion routine that was meant to be carried out after Cortana's death, allowing her to act as Master Chief's new companion. After getting off Installation 07, The Weapon was collected by the Collider, running into a reborn Cortana and taking note to watch after her.

The Weapon is a semi-clone of Cortana with entirely new Finishers and a bit of a twist to her Hologram function, being able to change her size as opposed to her material state. She doesn't deal traditional damage, able to rack up ambient damage before utilizing her Finishers to do proper knockback or utilizing Ghost in the Machine to activate knockback. As such, she's a bit more of a difficult character to play, but also one that is harder to kill.

Gimmick: Hologram

As a Hologram, The Weapon cannot actually touch her opponents without some sort of proxy. Unlike Cortana, she doesn't really utilize a hard-light mode, instead opting for a smaller or larger hologram mode. Using Twin Mercury she's able to materialize herself as a smaller form known as a "handheld mode" which makes her very small, about on par with a small character like Plankton or Scrat with less knockback resistance but her smaller hitbox lets her dodge more attacks and increases how many clones she can send out through Fragmentation. In "personnel mode", she'll become about equal height with Cortana and have the same weight she does in hologram mode, and she has more knockback resistance but won't be able to send out as many clones.
Moveset
Twin Mercury
The Weapon switches between handheld and personnel states with this move, becoming smaller or "normal size" depending on which state she's currently in. When switching to handheld state, she'll be able to dodge attacks, while switching to her personnel form will let her unleash a shockwave that Shocks the opponent and deals 5 electric damage. Fragmentation
The Weapon will send out a "clone" of herself to inflict damage- in handheld mode The Weapon can send out 3 clones at a time, which inflict 6 damage each with a crystalline projectile attack that inflicts Solar. In personnel mode, The Weapon can only send out 1 clone, who deals damage using a virtual ring contruct that slices through opponents as hard light over distance, dealing 6-10 light damage. These "clones" have light ai of their own, lasting 4 seconds before disappearing and charging straight towards the nearest opponents.
Ghost In The Machine
The Weapon transfers her conciousness into a projectile, trap, or troop and is able to control it directly for a brief period of time. She can pre-emptively set off bombs, crawl around as traps, use troop attacks for herself, or even freely fly around as a projectile. She will take some damage upon a object's destruction or time out, but this can be cancelled by doing the input again and the game will still think The Weapon was the original "owner" of the attack. Bubble Shield
The Weapon puts up a Bubble Shield, created by the Forerunners as a guarding technique. While this is active, it deflects projectiles and keeps out unwanted attacks, but opponents can still phase through it and gernades planted inside will likely kill anything in it. It will stick around for 20 seconds before deactivating and The Weapon can set up two of these at a time. Deflected attacks can still harm opponents near them and they will do 2x damage as normal.
Finishers

Beam Emitter
Level 1
The Weapon utilizes the Forerunners' Beam Emitter to create an energy field around the stage, as well as hardening her light form to deal 1.3x more damage as well as properly inflicting stun/flinch/knockback to her attacks, similar to Cortana's hard light mode. The Beam Emitter is active for 15 seconds, although the Beam Emitter itself has 45 health and can be destroyed by opponents using attacks.

Encephalon
Level 2
The Weapon utilizes the Encephalon from Despondent Pyre to create Reformation Spires to construct new Forerunner platforms around the stage. These platforms are laced with special light detection which allows it to be used by The Weapon and their teammates exclusively, while opponents will be dealt 15 damage on contact. These Forerunner platforms will be placed around a bit randomly. They stick around for 20 seconds before self-destructing, dealing 20-11 electric damage through giant shocking explosions that go off in a chain.

Fernado
Level 3
The Weapon snaps her fingers and sends out a signal for Fernado, the pilot she and Chief met during the events of Halo Infinite's campaign mode. Fernado appears from the top of the stage inside his Pelican, the Echo 216. The Weapon proceeds to then materialize inside as the ai inside the vehicle, operating a machine gun, inflicting 5 damage per hit to opponents, generating 6 bullets per second, with the player able to aim a reticle to aim at opponents to deal damage. The player can deal a max of 60 damage before Fernado is called elsewhere, or after 15 seconds.

When The Weapon is caught by Rogue, she is kissed on the lips (slightly phasing through her face or body).
Rogue gains Twin Mercury as a replacement for her neutral special Photon Blast, allowing her to change size to either normal size or mini sized. She also gains a defense bonus, boosting her defense by 1.3x for six seconds.
Talent
When The Monstars rob the talent of The Weapon, they gain Fragmentation to replace their side special, Intercept. This allows the active Monstar to create a clone that shoots a crystal basketball that deals 12 damage against opponents, which floats through the air.
The active Monstar gains The Weapon's "suit" as a physical attribute.
Insight
The Weapon's secret is revealed.

The Weapon thinks the Halo Rings should perhaps be preserved for beauty- and knowing that she would not be destroyed by their effects given she is not organic, she doesn't see a very bad future if they were used to wipe out The Flood.

Testimony
Saul Goodman gives a testimony for his client.
Your honor, my client was acting in self-preservation, not becuase she was rampant. She was protected by her original to guide a grieving John-117, and acted in accordance to her own survival to prevent her own deletion. While she may have been originally created for one purpose, does she not have the right to live as long as she still carries a purpose?
Torture
When The Weapon is caught by Posion, The Weapon is kept inside a system with her resources being extracted to hack into Metro City bank systems, taking 45 damage from the forceful resource allocation as Poison and the Mad Gear Gang get away with stealing money.
