Vee Noceda

Vee is a basilisk from the Demon Realm, who went through the portal to the human world after Luz leapt through it, seeing a opportunity to escape from Belos' captivity and from chases with his guards. She posed as Luz for the months she was away from her mother, taking up camp and becoming a more responsible young daughter for her new mother. After Luz found her way to the In Between, she found out what had happened and ultimately the two came to a understanding and are now part of a growing family.

Vee utilizes magic draining to power her attacks, utilizing a "magic meter" on her ui to power baseball bat strikes, a jumping attack, and a counterattack move. Her Finishers primarily center around greatly building up this meter as well, able to actually use five of these magic meters with her Level 3. She mostly can mirror her opponent's elemental inflictions, which elemental bonuses will greatly benefit her and elemental resistances will greatly hinder her.

Gimmick: Basilisk

Vee can drain magic from others, able to suck attack power from them utilizing her Basilisk powers. This fills up a magic meter, which fills up as she uses her primary attack Siphon to drain her opponents, although this causes a slowing time effect on them that causes them to become slowed down by 0.8x and eventually can go all the way to 0.3x speed the longer she drains them. As the magic meter fills up, it'll match the color(s) of the elemental affilation of what power she's draining from. This influences how her attacks work, adopting a different effect to each of the 12 elements. A full list is found below:

Moveset
Siphon
Vee opens her mouth and begins draining magic out of the opponent. This slows down the opponent significantly but they can still act, getting slower the longer Vee drains them. This fills her magic meter and allows her to perform reflected magic through her other attacks, which will take on the damage numbers and elemental affilation of the power she's aborbed- attacks the opponent attempts or the last attack they perform will influence what elemental power she drains for her magic meter. Deals 1 damage for each 20 frames while draining a opponent. Red Slam
Vee charges up a swing with a red baseball bat, inflicting a portion of her magic meter and dealing anywhere from 1-28 damage based on how long she holds it and how much magic she has in her magic meter. As Vee charges up the swing, her meter will glow and visibly show it draining on her UI. It takes a max-damage swing a full 3.5 seconds to charge up and takes about half of the magic meter when it's full. It takes on the majority of the elemental power inside the magic meter to influence what kind of elemental damage it deals.
Basilisk Bound
Vee briefly changes into her Basilisk base form, springing upwards high into the air, with additional an additional three magical jumps that drain the magic meter, dealing 7 damage to nearby opponents as she somersault spins in the air. Each jump costs 1/3rd of the magic meter when full. It takes on the majority of the elemental power inside the magic meter to influence what kind of elemental damage it deals. Shapeshift
Vee gets in a stance, briefly changing her model to mirror her opponent(s). This is a counter- if attacked while shapeshifting, she'll shapeshift into the opponent and mirror their attack to deal equal damage back to them. Press the attack button to super charge the attack with magic from her magic meter, costing 1/4 of the Magic Meter, to deal 1.3x more damage. The player can actually keep charging a single attack by rapidly tapping, allowing her to deal 3x more damage with a full magic meter powering the counterattack.
Finishers
Hexes Hold'Em
Level 1
Vee utilizes a Hexes Hold'Em card set to fill up her Magic Meter instantly with a random elemental type. She throws the cards as well like projectiles, which inflict 3.5 damage each and go completely vertical, dealing Bleed on hit.
Basilisk 5
Level 2
Vee utilizes a vial of Titan's Blood to summon a portal to the Demon Realm, summoning the other four Basilisks created by Belos to come into the battle and attack via claw and magic drain attacks- claw attacks deal 8 damage and hard knockback while magic draining does 1 ambient damage passively when a Basilisk gets close enough. The four other Basilisks will stay active for 10 seconds before returning back to the Demon Realm through their own portal, and while they can be stunned/flinched they don't take normal damage in the same way other troop-types do.
Eplison Drain
Level 3
Vee holds out her arms as she opens her mouth really wide and proceeds to drain as much magic as she can from her opponents, dealing 1.4 damage every 20 frames for 10.7 seconds. This continues to slow opponents as if they were under the effects of Siphon. After performing the drain, Vee gets 5 completely filled magic meters to work with, with each one "cracking" and disappearing off the UI when fully used up save for the last one.
