 Samus has a gimmick known as Armors which allows her to change her suit into different past armors she's taken on before. To change armor, Samus must utilize Armor Switch, a special guard that is split between "Light Armors" and "Dark Armors". It takes a full second to switch between armors, but Samus can switch armors as much as she want with little consquence. Each suit has different attacks, although largely share functions and general motifs. Additionally, they all share the same 3 Finishers. While you can stick to just one armor, it may be more beneficial to switch it up depending on the situtation as each attack for each armor have different properties. |

Zero Suit Samus slashes upwards with her Paralyzer Whip, covering a large range in the direction she's facing, knocking the opponent upwards with low knockback for 15 damage. A reliable safe option that allows Zero Suit Samus to follow up with a quick attack. |
| Gunship Aimlock Level 2 |
Zero Suit Samus has a reticle appear on the screen as she gets in her gunship, allowing her to aim at opponents. The longer you keep the reticle on your opponent, the more damage you can deal to them with homing missiles. You can send up to 25 provided you reach that number before the move ends in 3.5 seconds. Each missile deals 1.5 damage and flinches foes. |
| Zero Laser Level 3 |
Zero Suit Samus uses the power cannon of the Power Suit to unleash a powerful laser that covers the screen in a beam that deals 15 damage on contact, being active for 3 seconds. She can aim it up and down with the control stick. She stands stationary while unleashing the blue beam. |
