April O' Neil

April O' Neil, reporter for Channel 6, is on the air live with reporters all across the massive multiverse that have now merged into the place known as Black Hole! Using her trusty cameras and microphones, April O' Neil intends to get the hot scoop on every fighter she can. A friend to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, April O' Neil carries a symphathetic lens for the freaks trying to do their best in this world and very little sympathy for the crueler people out there. Keep it rolling and keep it steady- this is going to be a bumpy report!

April O' Neil utilizes Ratings to power one attack, which acts as a real Finisher to her attacks, which build up Ratings for her to use. Most of her normals, specials, and Finishers help build up these ratings, making her an absolute beast when she's got a hot scoop. Just be sure to strike it right or you'll use your audience for a non-story. Additionally, she has good recovery but her light weight and low escape stat generally evens out her potential insane damage output.

Gimmick: Reporting, Live!

April O' Neil generates ratings by using most of her normal attacks, which utilize camera, microphones, and other recording equipment, as well as utilizing On the Air and Channel 6 Chase which are special moves. As she builds up ratings, she can then unleash them through Breaking News, which will be powered by the ratings she's pulled in. All of her Finishers also power up her Ratings, allowing her to do additional punishes after performing those.
Breaking News
April does a microphone punch that utilizes the power of Ratings, which she builds from other moves in her moveset. Deals 1 damage when she has no Ratings power, but can deal a max of 45 damage when fully built up. Stars circle around her microphone in her idle stance to show what kind of power she's built up- yellow stars deal 10-15 damage, blue stars deal 16-20 damage, pink stars deal 21-26 damage, red stars deal 27-32 damage, and finally white stars deal 33-45 damage. There's also a guage on her UI to show how much ratings she's built up. Channel 6 Chase
April drives around the Channel 6 Motorcycle, which can do a dash attack that deals 8 damage with good knockback and accelerates fast forward, although won't stop April from plummenting off a ledge. While in the Channel 6 Motorcycle, a camera will go off from the front light of the motorcycle, dealing 1-2 ambient damage to opponents caught in the light and building up ratings. Keeping it on a pursuing opponent will build up ratings incredibly fast.
April hangs onto the side of a mini TMNT-branded blimp, lifting up in the air and able to glide around for up to 3 seconds before the blimp vanishes. She can act out of it to cancel it, able to cancel into any of her normals to fast fall to the ground. On the Air
April puts up a camera that beams out a staticky light, which deals ambient light damage and doesn't cause opponents to flinch but they will take 1-2 damage every 34 frames they're in the light. The camera vanishes in a puff of smoke after 4 seconds or if it's attacked. Generates lots of ratings for April to use.
Level 1
April O' Neil swings around a tripod camera around quickly, accelerating forward as she does, dealing 15 damage on hit. Can be used as horizontal recovery and builds up a yellow-star rating from 0 ratings for Breaking News. April O' Neil also has superarmor during the swinging animation, unable to break away from it as she performs it. Based off one of her specials from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge.
Hard Cam Tremor
Level 2
April O' Neil grabs a heavy camera and then proceeds to throw it into the ground, dealing 30 damage and Burying the opponent in the ground. Builds up a blue-star rating from 0 ratings for Breaking News. Comes out quick and has projectile properties. Based off one of her specials from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge.
Breaking News Ranbu
Level 3
April O' Neil dashes forward with a microphone, which zaps with electricity, pulsing forward before slamming into multiple opponents to catch them in a news reel that's able to fully charge up Breaking News and deals 45 damage with Shock. As a forward dash, it goes up to four character lengths before the time to act vanishes. She has invicibility while performing the dash. Based off one of her specials from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge.

Saul Goodman gives a testimony for his client.
Your honor, my client is a reporter, and sometimes when you're reporting, you don't get the best sources. But defamation? Your honor, everyone knows that Oroku Saki's office supplies shop is a front. Who is running a office supply shop in this day and age? They've all gone mostly out of buisness and even in busy New York, there is no way that it's not a laundering front. Follow the paper trail, and you'll see that there is no way there's that many paper shredders flying off the shelves like claimed.
When Female Wireframe is caught by Posion, Poison ties her up in a chair and uses her recording equipment to make a promotional video for the Mad Gear gang.
